Notes:
A paper by Andrew Breeze presented research on the etymology of Blisland. The findings suggested an Anglo-Saxon origin rather than Celtic, possibly a personal name such as ‘Blitha’. The Panel agreed an amendment of the current “Blus” to “Trevlidh” but leaving the etymology as obscure.
