Viverdon (EN) / Pympkrug (KW)

The original name was probably OE fīf-beorgas ‘ five barrows’ with reference to the conspicuous tumuli in the area. Later, when the surrounding area began to be used as a pasture-ground, OE dūn ‘hill, down’ was added.
